Thoughts from Greg

So how many of you are ready for school to be over...NOW? Well I hope that isn’t the case. Hopefully this first week back into school hasn’t been to stressful for you. I know I’m getting ready to start back very soon and I’ll confess I’m a little nervous about school this year because all my classes are fast track. I have to finish a full semester course in 8 weeks. Just a little scary! So I’ll be praying for you all as you’re getting into heavier homework assignments and you all can pray for me as I’m working through courses really fast! Before I go though, I want to encourage you all to think about the things that you have learned over the summer. No matter if it was from Student Life Camp, a mission trip to Greece or Woodlands or a message that you heard on a Sunday morning. Remember the people around you are watching you and looking at the way you act and listening to the things you say. Let your words and you actions be glorifying to God and an encouragement to others around you. Psalms 19:14 “May the words of my mouth and the meditation (or thoughts) of my heart be pleasing to you oh Lord…” Set the example for others as you walk through your day. II Tim 4:12 “Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” These are just some thoughts for you to think about as you are getting back into the swing for school.

Enjoy your day and God bless,

Greg
